Ethics

There are good reasons to make sure elected leaders of our community are honest, upstanding, and professional. Middletown Township business should always be conducted in an ethical manner.

Education

Like all Pennsylvania school districts, Neshaminy is faced with the difficult challenge of providing a superior education to our children while staying within state mandated budgetary limits. This makes the challenge of educating our youth even more difficult.

The following is a summary of the greatest challenges facing the Neshaminy School District:

Parks and Recreation

Middletown Township is truly fortunate in that we have so many places for recreation in and around our community. With the help of grant monies secured by previous Board of Supervisors, Middletown Township is making much needed improvements to many of our park and recreation facilities. Being proactive and planning ahead can save taxpayers money while providing needed services and facilities to our residents.

Finance

The DPMT believes that our elected Supervisors owe it to the taxpayers of Middletown Township to minimize unbudgeted expenses and do everything possible to achieve cost-savings, while not jeopardizing the current services provided by the Township.  Supervisors must take a more active role in restructuring a sustainable cost model in the Township, and should be paying close and careful attention to ALL financial matters, instead of claiming ignorance and opting to take the easy (and politically expedient) way out.
