Welcome to the Democratic Party of Middletown Township (DPMT) site and thanks for taking the time to visit us. This is a place where everyone in our community can come to be informed about all the important issues facing our Township.

The main purpose of our organization is to help ensure ethical and qualified candidates are elected into office to serve the best interest of the community. The Democratic Party has made great strides in Middletown Township and throughout all of Bucks County in recent years, returning honest, responsive representation to the offices that we hold and making sure elected officials are held accountable to our high standards. We encourage and invite all registered Democrats, as well as anyone looking to switch parties and independent voters to attend one of our meetings to learn more about our organization.
 

2012 promises to be an exciting year in Politics. With a less than stellar field of Republican candidates running for President and mass obstuctionism taking place in Washington many voters are being turned off to Politics entirely. Have you ever heard the old phrase, "All politics are local"? Well, truer words have never been spoken. Now is the best time to start attending DPMT meetings, getting involved, volunteering and donating money and resources to your local municipal organization. Why you may ask? Simply because change happens here and with a majority of registered voters in Bucks and Middletown Township, Democrats should be excited at the opportunity to shape our government. The trends and momentum that is built by grassroots organizations like ours effects the direction and discussions that take place all the way up to Washington, DC. Time Magazine recently named The Protester as the person of the year and I think that speaks volumes. Unless individuals speak up and get involved the conversation will never changed and we will end up with government that only works for a privileged few.
